AMARYL ACTION MECHANISM
Primary mechanism of action of Amaryl include lowering of blood glucose levels that is thought to be dependent on stimulating insulin release from functioning pancreatic beta cells.
AMARYL DOSAGE
Take Amaryl dosage as recommended by your health care professional. The usual starting dose of Amaryl is 1-2 mg per day. While usual maintenance dose of Amaryl is 1-4 mg per day with maximum recommended dose of 8 mg per day.
AMARYL ADVANTAGES
Common and Less serious side effects of Amaryl that are not serious include, headache, tired feeling, mild nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, stomach pain, increased sensitivity of skin to sunlight and mild itching or skin rash.
While serious side effects of Amaryl that require urgent / emergency medical help include confusion, hallucinations, seizure, loss of appetite, muscle pain or weakness, trouble breathing, pale skin, severe skin rash, redness or bruising of skin, numbness or tingly feeling, dark urine, clay-colored stools and/or jaundice.
